Food shopping

For food shopping I have several alternatives.  There is one shop in town that carries a minimum of American staples like peanut butter and tea bags.  For a more complete range of choices there is a modern supermarket about a mile from town that is not too different than an American supermarket where I can get Parmesan cheese and spaghetti sauce, etc. In town there are green grocers, butcher shops, and bakeries.  The most colorful place for meat, veggies, fruits, and flowers is the Mercado. (see below.)

Thanks, Cheryl, but it is too late.  But I am inspired so I will do more when I get home.  Joan
