Today I visited two homes on the library sponsored House Tour.   Homes here often combine indoor and outdoor spaces and both homes did that.  The first house, located in the desert outside of town. was a four bedroom, lavishly decorated home in a style that combined Moroccan, Art Deco, and (east) Indian design.  The owner, a plastic surgeon from Hollywood, CA, probably hired a set designer as an interior decorator.  It was too over-the-top for my taste.  The bedrooms and baths were particularly exotic.  You could have this home for 2.8 million!













The second house, located in town about one block from my apartment, was more modest and livable.  It had a master bedroom and two casitas.  The outdoor areas were especially nice.
