We are now in Luxor and I have a connection to the internet at last!  I will be posting several groups of pictures within the next few hours.
While in Aswan,I stayed in a hotel part of the time.   Below is a picture of the hotel with some abstract stone sculpture in front of it.  Each year between January and March, the Egyptian Cultural Department sponsors an international sculpture forum.  What you see in the picture is just a small portion of what was created this year by artists from all over the world.



This boat is called a felluca.  We sailed by felluca to a beautiful botanical garden on an island.
