Heading home

Tomorrow we fly to Delhi and then on to Boston.  The trip has been fabulous - there's been so much more to it than I have been able to show and describe.  I have really enjoyed discovering the richness of the culture, the belief systems, and the history of this complex area of the world.  An unexpected delight has been the welcoming nature of the people.  Here are some of the people I have encountered in the last few weeks.

Here we are, two very weary, but very happy travelers enjoying looking ridiculous in two cover-ups at a mosque in Delhi.

And here is a poem that Charlotte wrote for the farewell dinner we had with our great guide and tour mates.

The dust of India is in my lungs, the taste of curry flavors my tongue.
My senses overwhelmed by brilliant hues, my eyes retain magnificent views.
Through temples, palaces, mosques, and more, I savor again charming Indian lore.

See you all soon!
